  • 1. Professional Travel Planning Fees:

The fees for our professional travel planning services are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be offset against the total cost of your trip.

    2. Booking Changes and Cancellations:

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the description, a travel planning quote, or any written communication from EuroAsia Journeys, our professional travel planning fees do not cover booking changes and cancellations (refer to details below).

    3. Scope of Planning Fees:

Our planning fees are specifically associated with a designated trip, as communicated during the initial consultation, via email, or through one of our website request forms before utilizing our travel planning services.

    4. Changes to Travel Requirements:

In the event of significant changes to your travel requirements, leading to cancellations, rebooking, additional research, quotes, or the creation of a new tailor-made itinerary or trip proposal, a corresponding new planning fee will be applied. This circumstance may also be considered a new trip.

    5. Missed Booking/Payment Deadline:

If a client decides not to book or misses the booking/payment deadline(s) for a pre-planned private group, charter, or packaged tour, cruise, or vacation, a new travel planning fee will be levied for a subsequent booking and/or any additional research/quotes requested. This will be categorized as a new trip.

    6. Booking/Itinerary Changes:

Changes to a reservation/itinerary that do not necessitate the cancellation of the booking are subject to change fees only (see below).

    7. Cancellation & Requoting/Rebooking:

Alongside cancellation fees, a new or supplementary travel planning fee will be incurred for each canceled service item (e.g., flight, accommodation, transfer, tour, cruise) requiring requoting and/or rebooking. If all components of a trip itinerary are canceled and necessitate requoting/rebooking, this will be treated as a new trip.

    8. Not Booked Yet Service Item(s) on a Trip Proposal:

Any service item(s) on a trip proposal requiring a requote before booking will result in an additional service fee. This will not be categorized as a new trip unless all items on the itinerary/proposal necessitate requoting.

    9. Significant Changes to Trip Requirements:

If the client makes significant or multiple changes to trip requirements (e.g., different tour or cruise itinerary or supplier, different destination(s) or resort(s), different dates or duration) after receiving quotes or a trip proposal, resulting in new research, quotes, a trip proposal, and/or multiple rebooking’s, this will be treated as a new trip, and a new planning fee will be applied accordingly.

  • 1. Change Fee Policy:

A change fee will be applied for each modification made to a service item following booking confirmation or approval of the trip proposal.

    2. Additional Considerations:

These change fees are separate from any change fees imposed by the supplier(s) and any non-refundable amounts specified in their terms and conditions.

    3. Fee Structure for Solo Travellers:

Solo and independent travellers will incur a change fee of $25 for each item modified in the original booking or trip proposal. This includes changes such as name modifications, passport number adjustments, hotel changes, or date changes.

    4. Fee Structure for Couples, Families, or Individuals on the Same Booking:

For couples, families, or individuals traveling together on the same booking, the change fee is $35 per household for each item modified in the original booking or trip proposal. This encompasses changes like name adjustments, passport number updates, hotel alterations, or date changes.

  • 1. Minimum Booking Cancellation Fee:

A minimum booking cancellation fee of $75 per booking is applicable to offset our time and administration costs associated with canceling your reservation and securing applicable refunds.

    2. Cancellation Fee Structure for Multiple Service Items:

In cases where multiple service items are being canceled within an itinerary, the cancellation fee will be $50 for each additional item canceled for solo travelers and individuals from different households traveling on the same booking. For households traveling on the same itinerary/booking, the fee will be $50 for each additional item canceled.

    3. Additional Considerations:

Please note that these cancellation fees are separate from any fee(s) imposed by the supplier(s) and any non-refundable amounts specified in their terms and conditions.

  • 1. Financial Protection:

Travel insurance provides crucial financial protection by reimbursing you for non-refundable trip expenses in case you need to cancel your trip unexpectedly, such as due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    2. Trip Interruption Coverage:

In the event of an unforeseen interruption during your trip, such as a medical emergency or a family crisis, travel insurance ensures you are covered for additional expenses incurred due to delays or the need to return home prematurely.

    3. Peace of Mind:

Having travel insurance, especially with trip cancellation and interruption coverage, offers peace of mind. It minimizes the financial impact of unexpected events, allowing you to focus on enjoying your trip without worrying about potential financial setbacks.

    4. Unforeseen Events:

Travel plans are susceptible to unforeseen events like natural disasters, airline strikes, or sudden illness. Travel insurance with comprehensive coverage, including trip cancellation and interruption, safeguards your investment and helps mitigate the impact of unexpected disruptions to your travel itinerary.
